Description

We are looking for people would like to become a Health Walk Leader with our P4W Walk Project. Walk Leaders promote positive physical and mental health and wellbeing by leading and supporting people to participate in short health walks within their local community. We have existing walks within the Inner Moray Firth

Organisation aims and objectives

1. Contribute to the development & improvement of health, wellbeing & social care in a sustainable way throughout Highlands, through partnerships with individuals, communities and private/statuary voluntary sectors, tackling isolation and social exclusion, facilitating independent living. 2. Provide advice & assistance with regard to enterprises whose activities are directed towards the above aims. 3.Providing training opportunities for those referred to above with a view to such residents acquiring skills which will assist them in obtaining paid employment

Experience required: Volunteers will be given training
Travel details: Leaders would need to make their own way to the start of the walk
