CHSS currently have around 40 shops/ community hubs across Scotland. Their shops and hubs help them raise funds so they can provide services to the people who need them. Every one of their stores relies on a team of volunteers to help run it and support CHSS staff. Quite simply, they cannot provide our services or raise funds without the amazing support of their volunteers. The time, support and the work they do is vital to CHSS and the people they help. By helping out in one of our stores, you can make a difference to people and their families in Scotland who are isolated, scared or anxious about their condition.
As part of a team of volunteers, you will provide customer support, whilst working in a friendly atmosphere, providing an extremely useful and appreciated service to the Charity. The role includes: welcoming and assisting customers, customer service and sales service, stock control, sorting donations, hanging and ticketing stock and helping to keep the shop clean and tidy.
Offer advice, support and practical help to people to get their lives back on track after a stroke or diagnosis of a chest or heart condition.
