Our volunteer Shop Recruiters our vital to the successful operations of our shops. They promote our volunteer opportunities in their local communities as well as online, supporting applicants though our recruitment process and giving everyone a warm welcome into the Save the Children family.

Organisation aims and objectives

Save the Children is the world's independent children's rights organisation. We're outraged that millions of children are still denied proper healthcare, food, education and protection and we're determined to change that.

3-4 hours per week for 3 months

Restrictions

Experience required: Essential Warm and welcoming personality, ability to work in a diverse team. Computer literacy. Confidence to use the telephone. Desirable Able to support with welcome sessions on a fortnightly basis in store.
Travel details: The role can largely be done from home but will involve regular sessions at the Nicolson St Save the Children shop - iin order to provide new volunteers with a warm welcome.
Minimum age: 18

Expenses details: The volunteer just needs to submit a receipt of their expenses and they will be reimbursed.
Taster available: Yes
Training details: Training will be a mixture of in person, in store and online webinars that can be done at your own pace.
Support: Wheelchair Access/Disabled Access Toilet
