Lochs News are looking for a young person aged 12 – 25 living in this area, to contribute to their quarterly newsletter, by writing and submitting photos relating to Youth news anywhere in Lewis and Harris to celebrate thee achievements of Young people.

They are looking for articles on something you are interested in locally and would like to share with others.

This is an excellent opportunity to do some home-based volunteering where you can learn new skills, gain experience and work towards gaining a Saltire Award and/or a Duke of Edinburgh Award.

If you are interested in writing, journalism or just want to share your relevant local knowledge with others, whilst building your CV and working towards gaining youth awards, please get in touch

Lochs News is a quarterly newsletter for the area of Lochs on the Isle of Lewis. Each issue includes up-to-date features about the various goings on of the area, covering many topics including: sport, youth activities, local industry and so much more.
