Being a Community Connector Volunteer is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the success of a leading health charity and make a real difference to the people we support. It’s a great chance to help with fundraising team to be part of raising the profile of CHSS.

The role will include:
• Researching potential CHSS partner organisations using guidance provided; this may be groups, associations, local companies and schools. • Locating contact details for mailings / event promotion
• Inputting data into a excel spreadsheet • Providing the fundraising team with feedback to research

Organisation aims and objectives

We are Scotland’s health charity supporting people and their families across Scotland with chest, heart and stroke conditions. We want to make sure life living with a chest or heart condition or after a stroke is a life lived to the full. We will fight for better health for everyone and work to make sure there is help and support in every community.


We are unable to provide safeguarding if a volunteer is under 18 years old as they are at home. Must have own laptop/computer and WIFI.
Experience required: Confident computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Programmes • Excel spreadsheet experience would be desirable • Access to the internet and computer • Ability to use the internet for research • Accurate data entry skills • Able to work autonomously where required • Access to a phone

Training details: There will be training over the phone and on video calls. This will consist of: Capturing data Overview of CHSS and fundraising department Online training of volunteering at home & GDPR training
