Description

We're looking for volunteers who have a passion for social media, creating engaging content, and engaging people online in an interfaith social movement. You'll help us by: researching trends, engaging with communities and profiles online, creating content such as copy and short catchy videos, and using your own online presence - or engaging influencers - to engage communities in Scotland in intercultural messages.

Restrictions

Experience required: Essential: a passion for social media, and a good knowledge of multiple social media platforms (especially Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), an interest in cultures, faiths and diversity. Desirable: some experience in video editing, photography, or design, an active member of a faith community in Edinburgh.
Travel details: This work will all be done remotely, online, but if you wish to combine it with work within faith communities (such as taking photos for social media) when they reopen, we can also make that a part of the role.

Taster available: Yes
Training details: You'll be trained in our social media strategy, creating content for social media, and then whichever specialism you're most interested in (creating copy, video content, photography, research etc).
