Description

Project Scotland supports young people across Scotland to reach their potential through tailored support, mentoring & the opportunity to experience the benefits of a volunteering placement. They are looking for volunteers to commit to spending 1 hours a week for a minimum of 6 months, mentoring the young people that Project Scotland works with.

Experience required: self motivated, reliable & organised Flexible, patient & resolute Empathy & understanding of the challenges a young person might face A positive attitude Supportive & encouraging approach that can help young people recognise and reach their potential Ability to provide copnstructive helpful feedback Ability to relate to young people, build rapport & trust Active listening skills Ability to inspire, empower & motivate Previous mentoring & youth work experience but not a necessity
